This interactive model provides town-level funding estimates for the Education Cost Sharing (ECS) grant, board of education magnet school grant, and Agricultural Science and Technology Education (ASTE) program grant.
Users can input key funding formula components — such as enrollment projections, town wealth information, and student need figures — to estimate current and future funding provided by the State of Connecticut via different grant programs.
While calculated grant estimates using the projection model are unofficial and for informational purposes only, this tool is designed to help town and school district leaders, policymakers, and education stakeholders plan for the future and address budgetary questions.
