While calculated grant estimates using the projection models are unofficial and for informational purposes only, this tool is designed to help town and school district leaders, policymakers, and education stakeholders plan for the future and address budgetary questions.
Local School District & Town Projection Model
Users can input key funding formula components — such as enrollment projections, town wealth information, and student need figures — to estimate current and future funding provided by the State of Connecticut for the ECS grant, board of education magnet school grant, and ASTE program grant.
RESC Projection Model
Users can estimate current and future funding provided by the State of Connecticut for the RESC magnet school grant by inputting key funding formula components, including enrollment projections, adjustments to the grant's foundation amount, phase-in percentages for the grant, and phase-out percentages for tuition charged to sending school districts.
