Examining Connecticut's Alliance District Program

The Alliance District program is one way the State of Connecticut approaches school improvements to aid student achievement. The Alliance District program aims to transform the educational experiences and outcomes of students in Connecticut’s lowest-performing school districts by providing additional resources and increased accountability.

Despite aiming to improve student achievement and enhancing educational opportunities, the Alliance District program has performed inconsistently since its inception.
