Budget Snapshots: Governor Lamont's Proposed Budget Adjustments, FY 2023

Feb 10, 2022 - less than 1 minute

On February 9, 2022, Governor Ned Lamont released his recommended midterm state budget adjustments for fiscal year 2023. These recommended budget adjustments would amend the biennial state budget passed by Connecticut’s General Assembly on June 17, 2021.

To help better understand the governor's proposed budget adjustments, we've put together two brief analyses examining the impacts of the proposed adjustments on education funding and state revenue.

These budget snapshots provide a nonpartisan look at how the governor's proposed budget adjustments compare to current and budgeted spending and revenue levels, detail key policy changes, and (in the case of the education analysis) provide estimated town-by-town runs for the ECS grant.
