Welcome to Our Community

Our Community Engagement team is here to provide you with all of the information, tools, and skills you need to advocate for students and schools in your community and across the state. We do this by meeting with you anywhere in the state or on Zoom, offering free workshops and presentations, keeping you up-to-date on current events and education funding news, and ensuring you're aware of opportunities to take action and have your voice heard.

We know every community in Connecticut experiences school finance differently, and that community members have different experiences and interests around education. Recognizing this, we work to ensure you are supported in a way that is personal to both you and your community.

Are You Ready to be LEADER?

We've developed a FREE online certificate program, called LEADER, to help you learn more about how Connecticut funds schools. Available in English and Spanish for users ages 14 and up, the LEADER program is designed to empower you, motivate you, and equip you with the knowledge to create positive change in your community.
